Meet the Principal

Dear Parents and Students,

 

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year. I am honored and privileged to be the principal of Stockdale Elementary. This school year starts my thirteenth year as your principal. I want you to know that I take my position of leadership seriously, and that I recognize the awesome responsibility it is to educate children. Stockdale's dedicated, caring, and professional staff and I look forward to another year of excellence and continued celebrations of established traditions.

 

I have 28 years of experience in education. Nine of those years were spent as a classroom teacher at various elementary grades. The past nineteen years of my career have been in administration. I have seventeen years of experience of being a principal of an elementary school in the Panama-Buena Vista Union School District.

 

I love working with children. I try my hardest to be respectful, fair, consistent, and honest when dealing with people. It is my belief that students ought to be rigorously challenged in a supportive environment so that they may become equipped with such character traits as perseverance, confidence, initiative, and ambition. 

 

It is my sincere hope that all who come to Stockdale will see evidence that proves we care deeply for our students, and that we are determined to provide every opportunity for our students to succeed.
